I began my journey in the payments industry during the uncertainty of COVID, after being furloughed from my previous role. What initially felt like a setback quickly became an opportunity — it didn’t take long for me to notice a recurring problem: too often, merchants were left feeling unsupported, tied into contracts that didn’t reflect what had been agreed, and rarely hearing from their representative once the deal was signed.
We knew there had to be a better way. That’s what led us to build a business focused on doing things differently — putting relationships first, delivering transparency, and supporting merchants properly for the entire duration of their journey, not just at the point of sale. Our goal at Payworx is simple: to offer a service that we would expect ourselves. Honest, reliable and always there when it matters.
Outside of work, life is full and fast-paced. I’m a proud dad to four children, aged between 2 and 17, and husband to my wife Rachel. There’s never a dull moment at home. When I do get some downtime, you’ll usually find me enjoying football, darts, or rugby!

With over 15 years in hospitality, I have managed high performing bars and restaurants for renowned brands including Jamie’s Italian, THOR’s Tipi Bars and Roots by Tommy Banks. My hands-on experience gives me a deep understanding of the day-to-day challenges operators face.
Over the past 5 years I have transitioned into the payments industry, combining my operational background with a strong knowledge of hospitality tech to help businesses run more efficiently and profitably. My expertise includes Payments, EPOS, online bookings, rota management, tipping solutions, and business funding.
Fun fact — it’s a rare sight to catch me without some form of hat on!

Highly organised and goal-driven, I bring a proactive approach to my role, alongside ever-growing expertise in the payments industry. My diverse professional and personal experience has shaped me to be bold, compassionate, and incredibly resourceful.
Outside of work I’m Mum to a little boy, I love to read, have an unhealthy relationship with jigsaws and love spending time with friends. Fun fact — I can move my ears, with no hands! 🙌

With over 10 years experience in financial services I have built a well-rounded background across payments, utilities and a range of other financial products. Working closely with a multitude of industry leading providers gave me strong insight into the solutions and support available to businesses.
I specialise in pricing strategy and competitor comparisons, supporting businesses in finding the right solutions for their needs. I also play a key role in managing our wide Partner base, providing clear, practical product guidance to both Merchants and Partners.
Fun fact — I am classically trained on the guitar and when I’m not in the gym or out mountain biking, I’m usually spending time with my cat.

For me, it’s not just about getting the job done — it’s about doing it properly and building genuine trust along the way.
Family is at the heart of everything I do. I’m a proud parent of two children and a grandparent to three, so life is always full of energy and special moments.
When I’m not working, you’ll often find me out on the road in my campervan, travelling across the UK and discovering its many hidden gems and beautiful landscapes. Fun fact — I’m well known for my infectious laugh; it tends to brighten any room I walk into!
